The annihilation of Hiroshima in 1945 ushered in the Atomic Age. Allied victory had set the stage for a global tussle between the free powers of democracy and the communist regimes of the world. Man for the first time possessed the knowledge to go to the moon or wipe out civilization. Scenarios belonging to this period cover the Korean War, various conflicts in the Middle East and Indo-China and theoretical WW III battles in Europe, Asia and indeed on a global level.
